INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

In individual counseling we will explore your concerns with traditional talk therapy.  I incorporate several different forms of counseling styles depending on what works best for you.

DEPRESSION

Most people deal with a form of depression.  It may be long lasting or short lived.  There is no simple explanation.  We will work together to develop insight and coping skills that you can use to take that first step out.

VALUES CLARIFICATION

We all have a set of values that are important to us and it is the basis of how we live our lives.  When we have a value that is not in line with how we are currently living, we can feel a disconnect.

LIFE TRANSITIONS

Day by day our world and our lives are changing.  Some changes are exciting and due, while others can be scary.  And in most cases, both.  I'm here to help you process and make choices based on your values.

RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING

Most people see the term "relationship" and assume it means spouse or partner.  We have many relationships in our lives and sometimes a different perspective can help strengthen these relationship.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

A certain amount of stress can be helpful and keep us productive.  However, when that stress is paired with poor self care it's no longer positive.  I can help you learn ways to manage stress in a way that works for you.

PARENTING DIFFICULTIES

I have two young children, and I understand that using a one size fits all approach is unrealistic. We will work together to develop a plan to assist you specifically and address the difficulties that you are facing with your child. 

SELF ESTEEM ISSUES

Self esteem is tricky.  It is often formed over time through outside sources, and we tend to feel a lack of control.  However developing and maintaining self worth will be the most important thing we ever do for ourselves.

TRAUMA AND GRIEF

Trauma and grief experienced in any form can be too much to handle on our own.  I am here to support you based on what you need, not what I think you need.  If not me, reach out to someone.

ANXIETY

We have all felt some level of anxiety.  Anxiety is our body's reaction to a "perceived threat."  We may not always recognize the cause, but there are ways to retrain your brain and body to cope with anxiety.
